Neverwinter publisher debuts browser-based MMO

by on July 15, 2013

Perfect World Entertainment, a studio known for titles like Star Trek Online and Neverwinter, will be releasing a new browser-based strategy gamer later this week.
The game is entitled Fortuna and is a game somehow familiar to Civilization, and it features a world in which you have to build your empire from scratch.

“Fortuna is a first for our company, which has previously focused on publishing client-based PC titles,” said Andrew Brown, general manager at Perfect World Entertainment. “As with all our titles, our number one goal is to connect players around the world through games of the highest quality, regardless of platform or genre.”

The game will be available starting July 18, 2013 on home computers.
