Report: Valve looking to open UK game studio
Portal and Half-Life developer Valve quietly opened up a small office in Luxembourg last year and is looking to expand it into a full, game development studio, Develop reports.
Valve has been reportedly speaking with developers at the Develop in Brighton conference this week about its plans to open a studio thousands of miles away from its Seattle, Wash.-based headquarters.
Currently, the studio has around five employees working on the company’s digital distribution service Steam.
According to the report, Valve said the Luxembourg location is key to its success with European developers because of its central location in Europe.
