UPDATE: Metro: Last Night For A Penny On Best Buy Website

metrolastnightpenny

UPDATE: It seems Best Buy finally caught on and the product is “sold out online”.

Either someone will be fired tomorrow or Best Buy is being really generous tonight. It seems that Metro: Last Night, Deep Silver’s latest title, is only one measly cent on Best Buy’s website(as of this posting).  This is a digital copy and purchaser’s get an e-mail with a code to redeem the game. Kotaku reports that some people are receiving codes, but as you go down the web page this catches one’s eye:

Product Features
  • Digital download of Metro: Last Light
Included with the purchase of an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 or EVGA GeForce GTX 660 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 graphics card.
  • Also included with the purchase of an EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 graphics card.

That could be relevant elsewhere and have nothing to do with this fluke, but then again people may not be reading into this enough. Even so, go and try to purchase the game before someone realizes what they’ve done.
