NIS announces two new Japanese Vita games are coming to North America
Our friends at Kotaku have brought some interesting news to our attention today. Nippon Ichi Software America, the company responsible for localizing games such as Disgaea, have announced that two new PlayStation Vita games will be making their way to our shores early 2014.
The first game they announced is a rather typical (from all appearances, anyway) dungeon crawler titled Demon Gaze. The second may catch more people’s attention however, as it has been described as a cross between Phoenix Wright and Zero Escape.
This game is titled DanganRonpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, and is a murder mystery. The game’s description reads as follows, “Hope’s Peak Academy is home to Japan’s best and brightest high school students—the beacons of hope for the future. But that hope suddenly dies when Makoto Naegi and his classmates find themselves imprisoned in the school, cut off from the outside world and subject to the whims of a strange, murderous little bear named Monokuma. He pits the students against each other, promising freedom to anyone who can murder a fellow classmate and get away with it. It’s up to you to find out who Monokuma really is, and why you’ve been taken from the world you once knew. But be careful what you wish for—sometimes there’s nothing more deadly than the truth…”
Will you be able to figure out the truth? Perhaps more importantly, will you be able to survive the truth?
