Microsoft promises “something for everyone” at this year’s TGS

Xbox One to not have ads on home screen.

Microsoft is determined to make-up for its mistakes with the launch of Xbox 360 in Japan, which by the way was a total failure. Today, they promised that at this year’s Tokyo Game Show they will be revealing some new content and features for the Xbox One that are relevant to Japanese audiences.

They did not gave out many details, but they are trying to focus on free-to-play games, probably with some mini-transactions included.

When it comes to last generation, Japan seemed to prefere the PlayStation 3 rather than the Xbox 360. Why? Maybe they felt that the console is in no way designed for them. While this does not ensure that Microsoft will conquer Japanese market in the upcoming next-gen battle, this sure is a good first step.
