PlayStation mobile payment system for UK detailed

by on July 3, 2013

PlayStation users in the UK can now make payments through their mobile phone in a new payment system detailed via press release to VG247.

Sony made a partnership with mobile payment service Boku to create the system.

To make payments, users must access the Sony Entertainment Network Account Management website or the PlayStation 3 version of the PlayStation Store.

When purchasing an item, users can choose to pay with “mobile”. Users must input their mobile phone number and respond to a text message to confirm the payment. The payment will be added to their next phone bill or deducted from their pre-paid account.
