Halo 4 becomes Microsoft’s best-selling first-party title
To the surprise of no one, Microsoft has revealed that Halo 4 has become the top-selling Microsoft Studios game of all-time.
Released on Nov. 6, 2012, the game went on to gross $220 million on its first day in the U.S. alone, with estimated sales of $300 million in the first week.
In Halo 4, which began the start of a new trilogy from developer 343 Industries, Master Chief returned to battle an ancient evil, while improving upon the series’ already awesome multiplayer component. At E3 this year, Microsoft teased a new Halo game, which is headed to the Xbox One in 2014.
