Amazon pull ‘Ride to Hell: Retribution’ from sale after customer complaint

Amazon have pulled the Xbox 360 version of Ride to Hell: Retribution from sale after receiving a customer complaint.

A note on the Amazon item page reads, “This product is not currently offered by Amazon.co.uk because a customer recently told us that the item he or she received was not as described.” The game which was only released on Friday, is also still available for both the PS3 and PC.

The customer reviews on the site may shed some light on the problem. One commentator said, “This would have been poor on the PS2 or Xbox 1 – enemies pop in and out, during fight scenes half the punches don’t hit.” The most generous scoring review on the site ended with the words, “Awful, awful, awful.”

The game, published by Deep Silver and produced by Eutechnyx, has suffered a torrid time with critical reviews as well. The game currently has a Metacritic rating of only 22.
