New low violence version of Saints Row IV pops up on Steam Australia.
In the wake of Saints Row IV being banned in Australia, our friends at Kotaku have brought our attention to a recent appearance on the Steam store. This appearance is a “Low violence” version of the game.
Though the game’s page make no mention of what, exactly, is being adjusted in the upcoming Saints Row IV, the publisher Deep Silver has already confirmed that they would indeed rework the game so that fans in Australia will be able to play the game.
This announcement has actually caused a few to be upset. These gamers protest that there should be no such thing as a “Low violence Saints Row IV”, and go on to speculate that, “Gamers in Australia who want to play Saints Row IV the way it was meant to be played will likely just grab a torrent somewhere and not worry about buying this “Low violence” version.”
Are these gamers correct? Or will this new version sell surprisingly well?
