Today, Kotaku brought our attention to a bunch of new screens from the upcoming Indie Platformer, Contrast.
The game, which was initially shown at PAX East earlier this year, is a somewhat unique Platformer in that you can actually become your shadow and climb on other shadows. While other games (Lost in Shadow comes to mind) have done similar things, Contrast promises to be more dynamic than those that came before.
Contrast was also shown during this year’s E3, and was nominated for several categories during the event. These include “Best Platformer” (nominated by both Jeuxvideo and Gamercast), “Best Indie” (nominated by EGMnow and IGN), and “Best of E3” (one of 8 that Sidequesting nominated).
Contrast is set to release on PC (via Steam), Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 “Very, very soon” according to the official website.
Will you be able to keep Didi, the little girl that is experiencing family troubles, company? Or will you fail to manipulate the shadows in the way that you will need to?
