BioShock Infinite pre-order DLC available for $5, season pass content still in development
The BioShock Infinite story-based downloadable content is still in development, according to the studio’s head Ken Levine. For now, the downloadable content from the Premium and Ultimate Songbird Editions will have to do.
“We are working on it–have been since the game shipped,” Levine Tweeted today. “Things are going well, but [please] understand: game development takes time.”
The Columbia’s Finest add-on pack is available on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and Steam for $4.99 (480 Microsoft Points). For those who didn’t buy the special editions of the game, the pack combines the items from both versions, and includes five additional lock picks, 500 Silver Eages, the game’s currency, and six rare pieces of gear that add speed and loot bonuses to main character Booker DeWitt should he equip them. Two new weapon upgrades, Comstock’s China Broom Shotgun and Comstock’s Eagle Eye Sniper Rifle, that replace the original version of the guns with increased damage are also included.
Columbia’s Finest is not part of the three pieces of DLC content promised in the season pass, which will be story-based.
