Havok unveils a new free 3D mobile engine.

Today, Kotaku brought our attention to a new project by Havok that is sure to make several mobile game developers happy; A brand new, free 3D mobile game engine called Project Anarchy.

This engine will reportedly be completely free, and will allow you to have the same tools that developers have access to in the Havok engine. This allows developers to publish games freely to iOS, Android, and Tizen mobile devices without any restrictions regarding company size or revenue.

Ross O’Dwyer, head of developer relations at Havok, stated in the official press release that “Project Anarchy liberates game developers to freely explore gameplay ideas on mobile platforms using the same award-winning tools that console and PC developers have used for years. This complete set of tools lends powerful graphics, physics and animation capabilities to mobile game development teams for free regardless of team and project size.”

What kind of games will mobile developers utilize this new engine to create?
