Borderlands gets two masks for Halloween.
Kotaku reported yesterday that two popular Borderlands characters will be getting costumes, and that these costumes will be available just in time for the New York Comic Con and Halloween.
Specifically, these costumes will just be the masks of two characters. The first mask is a latex version of Borderlands 2‘s Psycho. The second mask is for the “Insufferable baddie” Handsome Jack. Both of these masks will be available in September.
The maker of these masks will be NECA, who have made several other plastic contraptions for gamers to enjoy. Looking at reviews, they typically do solid work, though one has to wonder if the upcoming Borderlands masks will be worth the price, as they are set to retail for $26.99 each.
Will the masks be of sufficiently high quality to warrant the $27 price point? Will Borderlands fanatics jump on the masks even if they fail to be of sufficient quality?
