Beta registration now open for Project Spark
Microsoft has opened beta registration for Project Spark, its new world-designing game that was announced at E3, according to Gematsu.
The game, which is scheduled for release on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC, looks to be taking on a similar theme to the successful PlayStation series, LittleBigPlanet. In it, you are able to create and modify a game world as other gamers are playing it, encouraging a spontaneous approach.
The game encourages use of both Kinect and SmartGlass, making use of both of Microsoft’s new peripherals for the next-gen. The games that are created can also be shared online to create a community, with Microsoft clearly hoping to tap into the modding community.
The game will be available as a free download and you can sign up for the beta trial here.
