Console race on Amazon UK and US shows differing loyalties

The console race has been brought neck and neck now that Microsoft took a complete 180 with their Xbox One console, and change it’s used games and DRM policy. So how are things doing on the retail side? As of this posting, Amazon UK has the PS4 at number two on their best sellers list for video games, while the Xbox One is right behind it at the number three spot. The Last of Us holds the number one spot.

At a stark contrast, the US Amazon shop has the Xbox One at the front of the line at the number one spot. The standard PS4 trailing behind at number 3 while The Last of Us is hogging up the number two spot.

Before the policy change, it was hard (for me at least) to justify recommending the Xbox One to anyone unless they truly wanted quite a few of the games coming out and also had an internet connection. Now that Microsoft has turned frowns right side round, both consoles are quite appealing to me. The Xbox One more so because of Kingdom Hearts III, Fantasia, and Zumba Fitness World Party.

So what do you think? Who’s winning the console race right now?
