Mark Cerny will discuss the challenges in developing for PlayStation 4 and Sony’s vision for the role of the indie community in the next-generation during his keynote talk for the 2013 Develop in Brighton conference.
Titled “Changing the Game: Developing into the Next Generation,” the PlayStation 4 architect and Knack director’s speech will also look back at the evolution of hardware that led up to the PlayStation 4.
Cerny designed arcade game Marble Madness in 1982, and went on to work with Sega, Universal Interactive Studios, Naughty Dog, and eventually his own studio Cerny Games in 1998.
Develop in Brighton will begin July 9 at the Hilton Metropole and continue to July 11. Trickets are available at the event’s website.
