Well, I did not see this coming as Hitman Absolution, the latest game released by the studio that now layed off almost half of its staff, had some good numbers when it comes to sales.

“We are making significant changes at IO Interactive as we align our business against a changing and challenging market. Hannes Seifert, formerly Production Director for 3 years at the studio, will take over the position of Studio Head at IO,” they stated.

They also said that the studio will now focus entirely on Hitman franchise and is in pre-production on a new AAA Hitman project.
It’s bad that theose changed affected a lot of good, talented people but I’m sure they will find a new job soon.
