Beyonce settles $100m dance game lawsuit

by on June 17, 2013

Back in 2011, Beyonce was sued by Gate Five, a New York based firm, for the breach of a licensing deal that she apparently walked away from. After two years, the two parties managed to settle this amicably.

The game was called Starpower: Beyonce, and it was supposed to release for devices that contains motion-sensor devices (such as Kinect, Move and Wii) and costed the developer around $6m before the star walked out from the deal.

They could not share the terms of the agreement, but it’s good to know that things worked out, and maybe we’ll get to see a Beyonce themed game.
