Tech Review | Logitech Folio for iPad mini

The iPad mini, while being small, still benefits from a formidable case, and particularly one that stays in line with the tablet’s design.

Logitech, which has made some very nice iPad covers, has come through with the Folio for iPad mini. Priced at $59.99 via Logitech’s website (or as low as $39 through retailers), the Folio for iPad maintains the iPad mini’s small form factor, while providing protection from abusing it while moving it around the house or taking it around while traveling.

Available in a variety of colors, the Folio folds nicely when using the iPad mini, that also allows you to use it as a stand. When folded in a triangular fashion, the iPad mini can sit on one of three ridges for standing it up in different angles. What I liked most about the Folio for iPad mini though, was the smooth interior and exterior fabric.

The iPad mini’s volume, lock and power buttons are also covered up with thick covers that protect them well, while there is plenty of space at the bottom for connecting the lightning cable and for the speakers.

Logitech also inserted magnets on the cover to allow the Folio mini to secure itself and closing the cover automatically shuts off the screen.

The bottom line is that the Folio for iPad mini is a great cover that is by far my favorite cover currently available for the iPad mini.

Final Score: 5 out of 5
