E3 2013: Xbox One family sharing members can be anyone
Microsoft doesn’t care who users consider their 10 “family members” for the Xbox One’s family sharing.
Both Microsoft’s Phil Spencer and Yusuf Mehdi agree, the “family members” can be anyone, including friends or fellow message board users.
The family sharing feature allows an Xbox One user to share a set of games with his family members that they can play on their own Xbox One.
A family member doesn’t need to be a “blood relative,” Mehdi told Ars Technica.
