E3 2013: Ubisoft currently developing three Assassin’s Creed games

In an interview with Kotaku, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said the company is working on three Assassin’s Creed games, including the most recent Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag.

Considering the series has new releases every year, the news isn’t that surprising.

“We are making sure the teams who are creating the different iterations have enough time—two years, three years,” Guillemot said, “so that they can take risk and they can change the concept enough so that it can be appealing and fresh.”

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will release this October on PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Windows PC. It will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 when the systems launch.
