E3 2013: Infinity Ward: Call of Duty: Ghosts completely “new” experience, but still in a “modern” setting

Just how different will Call of Duty: Ghosts be compared to Infinity Ward’s previous Call of Duty games?
According to studio member Chance Glasgow, it will be a “completely new world,” that will include new “gameplay mechanics” and is being powered by their “new next-gen engine.”
Even if it’s a new game, it seems the actual timeframe on when the game happens is still in the “modern” era. When asked by GotGame’s Steve Masters in a video interview, Glasgow mentioned that if he had to choose between past, present and modern, he’d say it’s “modern-ish,” but not set “right now.”
Hopefully, Infinity Ward has more surprises up their sleeve aside from Riley to make Call of Duty: Ghosts stand out from IW’s Modern Warfare series.

    Ok ok, so we thought Apple’s “all new” add crapaigns were bullshitty, buy I have to take my hat off to these guys. They took one look at apple commercials, flooded their presentation with “original” and “all new” material for the big reveal, and waited eagerly for the mindless masses to eat it all up. Why cant anyone understand, if we don’t demand quality, then all we end up with is shit.
