Quantic Dream shows off Beyond: Two Souls gameplay footage.
On the PlayStation Blog yesterday, David Cage (Director at Quantic Dream) showed off gameplay footage of Beyond: Two Souls that they had also shown at their E3 booth.
Several of the things that Mr. Cage highlighted were an increased control over Jodie, contextual (and prompt-less) interactivity and choice, revamped prompt-less action sequences, and entity gameplay.
For those wondering what, exactly, “Entity gameplay” means, Cage explains, “Last, but not least, of the new gameplay you’ll experience in BEYOND: Two Souls is taking control of Aiden, the entity connected to Jodie. At any point in the game, you can switch between Jodie and Aiden at a simple touch of the Triangle button. Using both Jodie and Aiden together will be critical for both protecting Jodie and solving puzzles.”
If you enjoyed games such as Heavy Rain and Indigo Prophecy, this may be a game you won’t want to miss.
Will Beyond turn out to be as good as Heavy Rain? Or will it even manage to surpass Heavy Rain?
