E3 2013: Microsoft’s Phil Harrison: “We couldn’t be happier with the price we’re starting at”
Microsoft’s Xbox One has received a lot of hate from gamers since its unveil. Why? Because they have added some new “features” that really annoyed anyone. Two of those features are the restriction of pre-owned sales, and the requirement for your console to be connected to the internet once every 24 hours or it will not run game anymore until it’s connected.
After all of that, Microsoft’s Phil Harrison told gamers in an interview that the company “couldn’t be happier with the price we’re starting at.” This is very odd, due to the fact that the newly announced PlayStation 4 is $100 cheaper than the Xbox One, which is priced at $499. If Microsoft hasn’t got any tricks in their sleeves, this console generation will be dominated by Sony.
