Madden 25 to make its debut as a launch title for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
According to a press release, Electronic Arts has officially announced that Madden NFL 25 will be making its next-generation debut as a launch title for both Microsoft’s Xbox One and Sony’s PlayStation 4.
When asked about the decision, Cam Weber, the General Manager of American Football for EA SPORTS replied,“We’ve never been more ready for a console transition than we are right now. The development team is crafting the most impressive Madden NFL game we’ve ever made, and I’m extremely excited for fans to get their hands on it for themselves when the Xbox One and PS4 launch.”
Some of the touted features include 10 times the detail from previous games, twice the control via EA’s new “True-step” system, artifical intelligence which actually thinks via the new “Player sense”, and more.
The full list of features, as well as the game’s trailer can be found on the new official website.
Will these features make the newest game in the Madden franchise more than just a “Slightly improved version of last year’s game”?
