Final Fantasy Versus XII becomes Final Fantasy XV.
Back in March, there was a rumour that Final Fantasy Versus XIII had become Final Fantasy XV and was moved from the PlayStation 3 to the PlayStation 4. Tonight, during Sony’s E3 press conference, Square Enix has confirmed that the rumour is true.
Tetsuya Nomura opened up by casually remaking that, “it’s been a while since we’ve talked about our Versus project”. This single statement instantly piqued the interest of many Final Fantasy fans, who had been hoping to hear some news of the upcoming entry.
The game, which follows the story of Noctis Lucis Caelum, a prince who is the last heir to the dynasty that rules over the very last kingdom. This dynasty controls the crystals, and from his throne, Noctis defends the kingdom from barbarians and other marauders who seek to claim the crystals through sheer force.
Will Noctis and his friends manage to reclaim the crystals? Just what do these marauders want with them in the first place?
