BF4 screens from “Alpha” build leak out, shows five-man squads and a ton more
Excited for Battlefield 4? You’re not the only one. While EA has revealed that we’ll see our first glimpse of multiplayer at their E3 press conference, it seems we won’t even have to wait until then.
Over on Reddit, a crap ton of screens from the game’s “Alpha” build has been captured and leaked onto the wild. It shows us how the loadout system looks like, mentions 5-man squads, and a ton more.
Here are some of the images:

Important to note, remember that this is an “Alpha,” so the game’s graphics and whatnot are obviously not done yet. Even so, we can clearly see that the buttons represent those of an Xbox 360 controller and we’ve singled out a few screens that stood out.
Commander Mode returning (for consoles, too):

And lastly, the mention of “Battlpacks,” which sounds like they’re the equivalent of N7 packs in Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer. These packs will allegedly contain random items like camos, attachments and whatnot which players get from playing the game. Important to note: this doesn’t seem to replace the usual way of ranking up and unlocking weapons.
I can’t stress this enough, but these are screens from an Alpha build, so bear that in mind before you shout out how ugly these look. There’s a reason why the general public aren’t privy to these kinds of things and now you know why.
Are you liking what you’ve seen so far? Remember that EA will be unveiling BF4’s multiplayer officially once E3 starts tomorrow.
