All three of Activision’s biggest franchises Call of Duty, Destiny, and Skylanders will make an appearance during next week’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is a new installment in developer Infinity Ward’s first-person-shooter franchise, built on a new engine, and launching Nov. 5 on Windows PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game, like the consoles themselves, don’t have an announced release date, but are expected this holiday season.
Halo developer Bungie’s new franchise Destiny is in development for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Destiny will be a first-person-shooter where players are tasked with protecting the last city on Earth. A release date for Destiny has not been announced.
Skylanders Swap Force is the third entry in the Skylanders series that allows players to customize their figurine’s top half and bottom half. Skylanders Swap Force is in development for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS, and will launch Oct. 13 in North America and Oct. 18 in Europe.
