SpyParty enters a paid open beta
Yesterday GameSpot confirmed that the upcoming indie multiplayer espionage game, SpyParty, has entered a paid open beta.
In order to access this beta, you will have to visit the game’s official website and register, paying $15 for the early access. In addition, there is a secondary option of donating $50 or more to the project, which will not only grant you early access to the game, but etch your name into the game’s credits as well.
For those unaware, SpyParty is a game that puts you in the role of either a spy or a sniper, with each one having their own objective. The spy must complete a certain number of missions within the given time limit, while the sniper tries to identify the spy and kill him with a single shot before the spy succeeds. In the event that the sniper kills an innocent, he will lose the game.
Hecker, the game’s creator, has said that additional modes are being developed for the game, and he wishes to release the game on all major platforms. There is currently no confirmed release date.
What role will you take in the game?
