Metro: Last Light is outselling its predecessor
Digital Spy pointed out yesterday that, according to publisher Deep Silver, Metro: Last Light is already outselling the original game.
Says Digital Spy, “Although Metro: Last Light failed to match its forebear’s opening-week sales in the UK, Deep Silver noted that it has shifted mroe units in the US than Metro 2033 has in its three-year lifespan.”
Deep Silver continues on to state that the worldwide sales are far surpassing the originals, though they have yet to release specific sales figures.
They go on to note that Metro: Last Light debuted at the top of the all-formats software charts in several European territories upon release, and that the PC version is the most successful version of the game. In fact, Deep Silver claims that the PC version actually tripled the game’s sales worldwide during its very first week on the market.
The game is available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Do you have what it takes to brave the dangers in Metro?
