Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn enters the third beta phase this month
As reported by Gamespot yesterday, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn enters its third beta phase this month. Specifically, Square Enix will be putting the third phase into action on June 14.
With this news, many may be wondering what, exactly, the third beta phase will entail. One of the more noteworthy features that will be implemented in the upcoming phase will be player-matching related. In addition to the above, this phase will include level sync party options, as well as Limsa Lominsa and Ul’dah leveling paths.
Finally, and perhaps of more interest to console gamers, this third phase will begin PlayStation 3 testing.
If you’re interested in testing it out, and you have an account for the original game on PC, you will qualify as a tester. Perhaps it should be noted, though, that the level cap is remaining the same (35).
With the official launch of both the PlayStation 3 and PC versions scheduled for August 27, will all the bugs be found in this third phase? Or will Square Enix roll out a fourth phase to try and catch a few more before the official release?
