Dark Souls II may launch in March 2014
According to a post on Kotaku, Dark Souls II, the sequel to the hit role-playing game released in 2011, may be released in March 2014.
The image above was posted by one of Kotaku’s readers, and is reportedly going up over the Los Angeles Convention Center. As you can see, it clearly says “March 2014” underneath the game’s title.
The image above really doesn’t come as a surprise, considering that Namco Bandai had stated earlier that they will be treating Dark Souls II as a “Massive AAA game” from a marketing perspective, and will be going in “guns blazing” in order to promot it effectively.
So far, only PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC versions of the upcoming Dark Souls II have been announced.
That said, the image above has sparked speculation. Assuming that the date is indeed correct what does this mean for the game? Will it be the first title in the series to be on the PlayStation 4 and/or the Xbox One?
