Legend of Zelda: Oracle games make it to the Virtual Console in Europe and North America
Eager Zelda fans have been anticipating the long-announced-but several-times-delayed release of some Legend of Zelda titles for the Virtual Console. The Japanese 3DS VC was lucky enough to get Oracles of Ages and Oracle of Seasons earlier this year, and now both portable Zelda games are coming to the 3DS VC for both European and North American shores.
The games were originally released on the Game Boy Color back in 2001. They were some of the only non-developed Nintendo Zelda titles (Capcom worked on the games). They were critically praised for their faithfulness to the old school top down formula, and the game’s abilities to link with one another, for a robust and interwoven experience.
These two Zelda gems will be available on May 30th, for both the European and North American Virtual Consoles. The two titles will be discounted temporarily, for €4.99 and $6.99 respectively, and will then cost a few dollars more after June 20th.
