Markus Persson, known as Notch, is the creator of the award-winning game Minecraft. Despite the fact that his game was only released for PC and Xbox 360, Sony is now taking an interest in him.
More precisely, Sony invited Notch to its event during E3 2013 by giving him a gold colored PS One. This VIP-style invitation can be based on the fact that that Notch stated on his Tweeter account that “he “wanted a game console, not a voice and gesture based tv remote box.” He also got an original copy of Dungeon Master 2.
This whole VIP invitation move seems to have worked on him, as he stated on Twitter that “They sure know how to bribe nerds. ” You can look at the unique gold colored PS One below:
