Some new high-res Knack screenshots are making the rounds from Sony today, with the title first being announced at the PS4 reveal earlier this year. Knack was one of the new IP’s the company was internally developing, to show off some of the hardware and infrastructure of the PS4 itself.

Knack is being developed by Mark Cerny, who has helped to develop some of Sony’s heaviest hitters of past days, including Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, and Uncharted. Knack is being billed as a third-person action platformer, and showed off some Pixar quality graphics running at a silky smooth 60fps (frames-per-second).

The game is currently slated for release as a launch title for the PS4 come this October. I’m sure Sony’s eager to drop even more details, come their next press conference at E3.
