Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will launch on the PlayStation Vita on June 18 with a new control scheme that utilizes the handheld’s touch screen and ad hoc network support for offline multiplayer.
The port of now-defunct developer Junction Point’s 2012 game will be handled by Blitz Game Studios.
Players will be able to control Mickey’s paint thinner and paint, and Oswald’s electric beam with touch controls. They can also be used to command AI and navigate the game’s menus.
It’s unclear if the PlayStation Vita version of the game can communicate with the PlayStation 3 version in any way.
According to NPD sales date, as of Jan. 29, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two sold 529,000 copies since its original launch in Dec. 2012 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
