Microsoft’s massive unveil of the Xbox One has left everyone screaming and shouting, some in celebration, and others in anger. One of the new bits of (controversial) information dropped along side the big unveil today, was in regards to the new and improved Kinect. The Xbox One will come packaged with, and will not work without the Kinect 2.0.
This doesn’t mean every game will feature motion-based movement controllers, but it sends a message loud and clear to gamers the world over, in where MS is head with the Xbox One. Wired got an exclusive first look at the new and improved Kinect to come with the Xbox One, and posted a video of the device in action today, shortly after the reveal.
With new HD 3D Visual fidelity, improved IR capabilities to help with lighting, and enhanced movement detection, the Kinect 2.0 is looking to up the ante in everyway.
