Ubisoft’s fiscal year ends with profit
Ubisoft has released its fourth quarter fiscal information for 2013, and the company saw some profit for the year that just ended.
The company ended with $1.615 billion in revenue and $83.3 million in profit, which was a 73.7 percent increase from last year.
Ubisoft noted that the Assassin’s Creed, Just Dance and Far Cry franchises were the big contributors to the growth. Far Cry 3 sold 6 million units since the game released last year, while Assassin’s Creed shipped 12.5 million and Just Dance 4 shipped 8.5 million.
In other Ubisoft news, 1666, the game that Patrice Desilets was working on, has been suspended after he was fired last week.
