It seems as it studios might be possibly seeing through the haze of Nintendhate, as studios are testing out the waters of the first eighth-gen console on the market. Hot on the heels of news that AAA titles like Batman: Arkham Origins and WATCH_DOGS will hit the Wii U, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment confirmed via Twitter that the DLC coming out for Injustice: Gods Among Us will also be released for via the Nintendo Network later this summer.
There is no word yet on whether it will be the same DLC or a different set altogether. We have reached out to the PR firm handling Injustice and will report back with any answers.
Today marks the first release of DLC for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, with players being able to buy the intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo for 400 Microsoft points on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. and $5 on PSN. Batgirl is slated to be the next character released via DLC.
Two skin packs were also released today: the Teen Titans pack, with skins for Cyborg, Raven and Deathstroke, and the Bad Girls pack, featuring skins for Wonder Woman, Catwoman, and Harley Quinn, donning her original jester costume. Skin packs can be purchased for 240 Microsoft points on XBLM or $3 on PSN.
