The Sims 4 Announced

Maxis today announced via their blog page that The Sims 4 is coming to PC and Mac in 2014.

“The Sims franchise is fueled by the passion and creativity of its millions of fans around the world. Their continued devotion to the franchise ignites the fire of creativity of the team at The Sims Studio, driving them to continually improve and innovate on one of the world’s most successful simulation game that has sold more than 150 million copies worldwide,” said the studio in an statement.

With E3 only a few weeks away, you can be sure they’ll be talking a whole lot more about the game and what features to expect.

Another Sims sequel. Great idea, EA & Maxis. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?

I doubt whether anything will go wrong with Sims 4. In fact, EA & Maxis have announced that this game will feature single-player offline mode. It seems that the SimCity online debacle made EA & Maxis to come to this decision. However this will be a win-win situation for everyone because games that require a persistent online connection always experience interruptions.

    That is something useful.
