Ubisoft has confirmed this morning, that Splinter Cell Blacklist is also in development for the Nintendo Wii U.
This is great news for Wii U owners looking for more 3rd party titles this year, and should really come as no surprise to Nintendo fans, who should be very well aware by now that Ubisoft has been a great partner with Nintendo over the past few years.
The game will arrive to the Wii U on Aug. 20 in North America, while in Europe the game arrives on Aug. 22. The UK will get it one day later on Aug. 23.
Details are somewhat scarce at the moment, but Ubisoft did confirm that the game will let players execute Killing in Motion, operate gadgets, move through environments and switch between weapons using the Wii U GamePad. The publisher says that “other features” are being implemented as well.
