Bethesda is one of the most important and popular developers in gaming right now – the holders of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchise is the type of company who merely needs to mention a new game and people get excited. Well — time to get excited. Speaking to OXM, Peter Hines, the VP of Bethesda announced that “I think you’ll hear us making considerably more noise this year than we did last year, as a publisher,” he said. “Obviously the Elder Scrolls Online is out and we’ve got the Dishonored DLC, but we will be announcing new stuff and making some noise, and I think when we get the chance to show you guys what we’re up to, that you’ll sit up and take notice.”
Some rumor mongers have suggested that Doom 4 may be in the pipeline by Bethesda, I give an apathetic shrug to that thought, unless The Rock reprises his role from the movie. The more interesting (to me) suggestion is Fallout 4, with a recent “Fallout TV” trademark and an ominous tweet voice actor Erik Todd Dellums this one seems like a legitimate possibility. Oh and there is always Prey 2 —- ok I was just making sure you were still paying attention with that one.
