A few new features will be added in an update to Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Friday, March 22.
Both the Data Transfer Program and Packet Relay Tool will be out after being delayed from launch.
“We sincerely apologize for the delay and appreciate that eager fans are looking forward to the feature set offered by the two apps,” Capcom Unity community liaison Greg Moore wrote on the official site.
The Data Transfer Program will let owners of both versions of the game transfer progress to and from the Wii U and 3DS.
Meanwhile, the Packet Relay Tool lets the 3DS version of the game play online via the Wii U, provided the console has a Wii LAN Adapter or Wii U LAN Adapter. The tool lets gamers hop into games hosted by a Wii U console to play. While using the tool, the Wii U can’t be used for anything else.
