Microsoft has revealed via its PlayXBLA site that a retail disc version of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is coming in April.
The game recently received the Skin Pack 4 for the game and Microsoft is now ready to let gamers who don’t have Xbox Live experience the awesomeness that is Minecraft.
“This version of “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition” will contain all the same features and content included in the current version, as well as the new additions coming soon in the ninth title update to the game,” said the company.
The retail game will also support multiplayer connectivity between retail and digital versions of the game, and the disc based version will also get all the content and feature updates that the digital version gets and has gotten.
The retail disc will arrive in stores in the US on April 30, and will cost $19.99. The retail package is also coming to Australia, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore, and Taiwan in early June.
