Nintendo Insider reports that the Wii U version of Resident Evil: Revelations, will allow for off-TV play, which will let players play the game on the Wii U GamePad.
Basically, players will be able to utilize the GamePad as the TV screen, while controlling the game can be done using the Wii U Pro Controller.
“There’s a joke going around in Japan at the moment about using Off TV Play to play your Wii U games on the Bullet Train, as long as you get on of the seats with a power outlet, so we wanted to make sure Bullet Train play was possible with Revelations,” jokedproducer Tsukasa Takenaka.
“I wouldn’t want to be so presumptuous as to say that everyone will enjoy one version more than another, but there are definitely features in the Nintendo Wii U version that are not found on other consoles,” he added.
Resident Evil: Revelations, which was previously released as a Nintendo 3DS exclusive, will arrive on May 21 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
