Death Star Kickstarter “Joke” Project Started

After a petition to the United States to build a Death Star was declined, fans of the Star Wars franchise are taking things to new levels. A “joke” Kickstarter campaign for the Death Star has been posted with a 20 million GBP, or over 32 million USD, goal. The initial goal will gain us the actual details and blueprints for the planet destroying monstrosity as well as “enough chicken wire to protect reactor exhaust ports”, and a stretch goal of 543,000,000,000,000,00 GBP (850,000,000,000,000,000 USD) will be enough funding for the actual construction of the Death Star.

While this is a joke, wouldn’t it be interesting if the goal was met? I mean, you can get a droid engraved with your name on it on the finished station if you donate $15. There’s more than enough people in the US alone (over 313 million) if they donated at least $1 each to fund the initial goal. Join this campaign and together we can rule the galaxy as…people…or something.
