Gamers have been download the demo for Dead Space 3 like crazy, according to EA, who announced that the demo has already been downloaded nearly 2 million times.

The demo was released last week for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with pre-sales of the game apparently doing quite well.

The demo lets players use Isaac Clarke, and his co-op companion Sergeant John Carver, as they crash land on an ice planet filled Necromorphs. The demo can be played as a single-player experience or in co-op mode, while on the Xbox 360, players can experience the voice command feature with Kinect.

Dead Space 3 is set to release tomorrow (Feb. 5).
