‘Skyrim,’ ‘Dishonored’ Among Soundtracks Released by Bethseda Thursday

For those who are looking to add more tunes to their personal-music-playing-device-of-choice, Bethseda has some options that hit iTunes today.

Video game music and soundtracks have surged in popularity as in-game music scores have advanced in depth and sound quality. So it’s not surprising that Bethseda has just released some of their most popular, most immersive soundtracks to iTunes, ranging from $9.99 to $15.99. The soundtracks are complete original game soundtracks, so the price is comparable to buying a physical CD.

Releases include soundtracks to RAGE, Dishonored, Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, and the latest three titles in the Elder Scrolls series: Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim.

To whet your appetite, enjoy one of my favorite tracks from Dishonored, “Drunken Whaler,” now playing.
