The Tyranny of George Washington is coming

But first on our agenda tonight we’ve got a trailer for you! Remember the controversial torso of a female with a very revealing bikini scandal? Yeah, this is the pre-alpha gameplay trailer for that game. Dead Island Riptide

The first of three installments of the long anticipated Assassin’s Creed alternate universe DLC, Tyranny of George Washington, will be coming out on February 19th of this year. it will be available for XBOX 360, PS3, and PC for $10 and free for those who hold a season pass. You can also purchase the DLC at Best Buy and Gamestop. Ubisoft has not mentioned when the Tyranny of George Washington will be available for the Wii U.

Up next, Irrational Games has provided a trailer detailing what you can get by pre-ordering Bioshock Infinite. In short, you get three in game items that will improve your combat abilities, 500 in game currency, five lock picks, the Industrial Revolution puzzle game wich unlocks stories of Columbia and gives you the ability to choose between the Vox Populi or Founders via Facebook.

And our last story tonight: It’s finally over Ladies and Gentlemen, THQ is no more. Sale of some of THQ’s assets were approved today, others will be dealt with later on. Vigil Games was not acquired by any company. Ben Cureton, lead combat designer at Vigil, had these all too sorrowful words to say about it:

Maybe you can imagine what it feels like when you read the list of who bought what only to discover your name is not on the list. Why? Did we do something wrong? Were we not good enough? Were we not worth ‘anything?’ Imagine that.

One asset of note, Darksiders, was among those that was not acquired. Ubisoft thought, seems to have its eyes on the franchise and may bring us Darksiders 3.
