Capcom’s upcoming portable to console port was perhaps the worst kept secret in gaming history, but it’s finally official.  Gamers on the X-Box 360, PS3, and Wii U will be able to explore the Queen Zenobia this may.  Revelations will be updated with HD graphics, achievements/trophies, a new enemy, a new difficulty setting, and an improved raid mode featuring Hunk.

Resident Evil: Revelations is probably the best Resident Evil game to come out since Resident Evil 4, and it’s the game that comes closest to the series survival horror roots.  If you’re one of the many fans who felt jilted by the series’ recent direction, this is a chance to vote with your dollars.

Revelations will come out on May 21st in the US and May 24th in Europe as a physical disc.  PC and PS3 digital versions will launch alongside the physical editions, and X-Box 360 and Wii U digital versions will follow some time in the future.  The game will cost $50.

I still haven’t played it on the 3DS and will gladly check it out for the Wii U!
